This new open season for gunners include public appearances of President Obama. Former President Bush banned cameras, microphones, and intelligence from his public appearances. Perhaps this new open season preys on the recent banning of intelligence. Only an idiot would stalk around with a gun during a presidential event.
Imagine if Squeaky Fromm had been caught with her Colt .45 before pointing it at President Ford. "Officer, I was just affirming my right to carry arms."
How about John Hinckley, Jr.? "Oh, officer. That's a violation of my Constitutional rights to stop me and ask about my gun!"
