The Hall County Commission has been cutting employees and services since 2010 with the election of Gibbs and Lutz.
Lutz has an Arnold Schwarzenegger complex, much worse than having a Jesus complex.
Gibbs is a toadie whatever that means.
So how did they screw it up again?
Converting a closed library into .... a doctor's office to be used only by county employees! OMG! Socialized and mandatory medicine.
Had Obama proposed this, the Commission would have gone all postal on socialized medicine, forcing employers to provide women with birth control, and 32 violations of secret agreements with dead men.
There are two versions of the real story. One at Access. Another at the Gainesville Times.
So we shut down this special needs library, fired the staff, and let it stand empty, justified by ... we don't have the money for non-essential services. Yup. A library geared to children with special needs really isn't life and death. Nope.
So it is small. Not much parking. Only one conference room. Single story. Rural.
Now we have the money to refurbish it into a medical office and pharmacy, hire a pharmacist(s) at $100,000 per year, several pharm techs, upgrade security for medicine storage, storage of medical records, medical wastes, hire at least one doctor for at least $200,000 per year, several nurses, ae receptionists, an office manager, and some one to have audit and oversight power.
Yeah.
Then who gets to go there?
County employees only.
Will they have a choice of providers?
Yes, as long as they chose the new health clinic.
Can they use a pharmacy located close to their homes.
Yes, As long as they live near Exit 24 in Hall County, Georgia.
Here's the fine print:
Hall County cut the budget for the Public Health Department to find the money for this government mandated medical clinic.
Do you know what that means to families with school aged children?
Yeah. It means we just shit on them.

Seven Million sign up for 'Obamacare.' Rush Limbaugh says ....
Stand back! I heard this on the Moon Bat station of my Obama issued, free talk radio.
"Yeah, seven million signed up but it's all the same person, Michelle."
"No. It really was just one person but it took them seven million times."
"No. We don't know if it was seven million people who got insurance. It could be seven million people with full shopping carts."
"No! I have the truth. It was seven million people who visited the site, created an account, filled the shopping cart but they couldn't pay at check out."
Oh the shame of it all.
It's sort of like saying, "Yeah, there are 50 million Americans over age 65 who were lifted out of poverty by the Social Security program. But, none of them work! They're ... dead beats drawing a government check. They have no incentive to greet people at Wal-Mart! They are not willing to SuperSize that McDonald's Meal on Wheels. What good is a government program if it doesn't put people to work!?"

"Obamacare will destroy the economy!"
Coughs into fist. Makes a sound like BULLSHIT!
The economy just added 238,000 new jobs. I guess those people are all working to fix a certain healthcare website.
A private survey shows U.S. businesses added the most jobs in a year in December, powered by a big gain in construction. The figures are the latest evidence that the economy gained momentum at the end of 2013.
Construction jobs? Production jobs? Yes, we have those being added to our economy despite the doomsday predictions of the far right.

Republican propaganda in Hall County
There's going to be a Brown Pants meeting on Monday.
Hall County's Congressman, Empty Suit, has organized a "Field Hearing" on Obamacare.
Why is it called a field hearing? Because they found the witnesses and evidence in a field of cow pies.
In a more serious tone, the Committee on Oversight and Government sponsored the event. Oh, the irony of House Republicans having a committee to oversee themselves. Do they understand there's no such legislation creating Obamacare? It's called the Affordable Care Act or ACA.
Who does monitor the 'monitors?' Who is making sure they make no mistakes.
The Republican answer to that age old question is, "We are!"
The Committee on Oversight maintains a website. Here's the page on the Gainesville/Hall County field hearing.
The link don't work. There's no way to preview witness and testimony documents or see the topics. Not even an agenda.
However, Congressman Empty Suit has bombarded me with emails. Excuse me. Propaganda.
Here's my pre-view:
I hate Obama.
I hate his wife.
I hate his kids.
I hate the color of his skin.
He was born in Kenya.
He faked a short form birth certificate.
He was appointed to office by the Liberal controlled Mainstream media conspiracy to convert 'America' to a Marxist Minority Majority.
Yawn.
Where's my oversight committee? It's ME!
BTW, Empty Suit is a 'native born' name given to the 9th District Congressman. Dumb Ass was taken.

Cartoon Fun

Just a little something on Healthcare and Washington. The GOP has been saying, "Let's Start Over!" on healthcare.
Outside of Washington, heathcare doesn't have playground do-overs. If a patient dies, they stay dead. It doesn't matter if the death was from neglect or departmental turf wars. Dead is dead. There's no starting over.
The GOP killed healthcare reform over the past 14 months by doing nothing. So to the GOP:
"You can't have a do-over if you haven't done something!"
And, to the Democrats: Eavesdrop on the message to the Republicans.
In the greatest country in the world, people are dying because insurance companies won't let doctors save lives. Period.
