Tisdale and Butch Miller

Nadia Tisdale received a sentence today for her earnest attempts to bring public awareness to all voters. The AJC carries her story.

She was assaulted. Then, tried in a mockery of a trial. And, sentenced to probation, a fine, and community service.

So, where do I find the justice in that? I don't.

You see, I've recorded many politicians in many venues. Sometimes, I held a camera. Sometimes, I laid a recording device on a table. Sometimes, I used hidden devices.

For Senator Saxby Chambliss, when he witnessed to God, saying to NGCSU cadets, God Called Me to Public Service. I recorded that.

When our Governor, Nathan Deal, held town hall meetings as a member of the US House of Representatives, I held my camera. Sometimes in plain sight. Sometimes, I held the camera against the side of my leg, hidden in a leather binder. I'm sure his staffers remember watching me. I wanted them to catch me and react.

For Representative Doug Collins, I put the device in plain sight. He's too dumb to spot it or even look for it.

For local Republican Party meetings held in public, I laid the recording device on the chair next to me. One time, as I recorded Ashley Bell, Bell called me a member of the Press.

For County Commission meetings, I used hidden devices. I wonder if Craig Lutz remembers all the things he's said after shaking my hand?

Speaking of Craig Lutz, I remember sort of sharing the stage with him back in 2010 when I ran for State House against some very minor Republican. My Republican opponent wouldn't share the stage with me. But, some how, Senator Butch Miller stood in for him.

Butch, do you remember the pen in my shirt pocket? The extra pen laying on my note pad?

I really hope you remember the loaded question about Buford being the exclusive supplier of natural gas in southern parts of Hall County. You answered it very well. Very well. After you sat down, you bragged about it. Remember?

You should. In so many words you confessed not only to having all the questions before the forum, you confessed that my opponent, James Mills, supplied you with the answer to that question.

Do you remember, Senator Butch Miller, President Pro-Tem of the Georgia Senate for 2018?

I have a suggestion for ya, Butch. I'll share it with you face to face. Soon.

New Chicken statue in Gainesville

Gainesville is the chicken capital of the United States. Just look at who runs for office there.

PETA wants to mark a spot on Highway 129 in memory of the chickens who never made it into local public office. These chickens lost their lives along Highway 129 on their way to slaughter at the polls.

The ambitious idea dwarfs the downtown statue and may eclipse the Big Chicken in Marietta.

Various non-comments were never heard today.

Commissioner Craig Lutz, "We will not raise taxes to remember losers."

Commissioner Gibbs, "We have no reason to remember our mistakes, especially those made behind closed doors when first elected."

Ex-Commissioner Ashley Bell, "I look past this time of grief knowing I can find a compromise to make me look good to true conservative donors."

Goobernator Make A. Deal, "I'm appointing a blue ribbon commission to review our response to poorly worded and ill timed reports of dead chickens blocking school buses."

Senator Miller, "Whatever the Goobernator said is alright with me if the Tea Party lets me say so. If the Tea Party honors me by sending me to the next Constitutional Convention, I'll act in the best interests of my betters."

You got that right!

Senator Butch Miller is a waste of hot air, MHO

Dig it.

My State Senator, Butch 'You got that right' Miller, wants a Constitutional Convention.

Send Miller to Philadelphia

A convention could destroy the economy and perhaps the country. Imagine someone on a dumb blog announcing the Conventioneers have voted to implement a national sales tax of 23 percent. What would happen to those financial markets around the world?

Let's say the Convention eliminated the Executive Branch. Or voting. Or made gold the only legal tender.

What if Senator Miller were our rep to the Convention? Would the new money say, "You got that Right!"

Can you Spot the Senator in the picture contest:

Shortage of Toilet Paper in Gainesville

Monday of this week, unprepared consumers scrambled to find toilet paper. The well informed and politically savvy buyers had emptied the shelves at all the Big Box stores.

Aldi have one skid left. It was pointless to stock it on the shelf. The pallet sat in the middle of the aisle while the employees loitered nearby.

An elderly couple packed their cart with several rolls. Boy, could that old lady use a hat pin. If she had been wearing combat boots, no one would have been surprised.

It wasn't the cold temperatures. It seems both Gubernator Nathan Deal and his esteemed floor leader, Senator Butch "You Got That Right" Miller were in town.

Both were spotted at Riverside Pharmacy's 60th Anniversary Celebration.

Citizens should be very proud of Riverside Pharmacy. Surviving as a business for 60 years is very impressive. If they survive another 60 years, I don't think the stink from the Gubernator and Senator Miller will go away.

For the next two weeks, I must advise drivers to be very wary. Those without TP have been known to use pine needles to maintain that clean, pine scented smell. And, remind themselves to read local political news.

Next time it could be the whole Legislative Delegation and the 2nd Lt. Guber, Casey Cagle.
