Deal signed Guns on Campus law to help Karen Handel

Ossoff

He stands on the edge of victory in the 6th Congressional District. He's so close that Governor Nathan Deal signed into law provisions for students to carry guns to school.

That's right. I could return to college and carry any kind of gun to class. No teacher could stop me. No security or police. I could sleep in my class while using 'it for a pillow.'

I could load my car with as many guns as I wanted. All loaded. And, it someone saw my guns as I got out my book bag, no one would have a legal right to even ask me, do you have a concealed gun permit.

Stupid law. It would allow me to carry an arsenal, drive up to a student meeting, and open fire. All in the name of

ELECTING KAREN HANDEL.

Don't think so? I do. Handel is a college drop out type with only a high school diploma whose ambition runs as far as being President of the United States?

Don't think Handel could become President? Elect her to Congress. Get her the position as Speaker of the House, then she won't need to be elected.

'Guns for Karen,' the latest law passed during an election cycle to rally Republicans to the polls.

More on the reaction by police:

"Georgia's public university presidents and police chiefs were strongly opposed the bill. It now falls on them to figure out how to implement it before the next school year begins."

Digging a hole to fit a lake

Over a decade ago, some land developers in Hall County, Georgia, decided to create an amenity lake by damning a creek. The creek feeds into the river which feeds into the lake which supplies the water to flush toilets in Atlanta, Georgia.

So, there were permits to buy. Inspectors to bribe. And reasons to lie.

So the permits were purchased fair and square but magic happened.

'Our lake is too small. We don't like that at all. Give someone a call. Let the government fix the law.'

So county government began digging a financial hole called The Glades. Yes, I should have used a swamp metaphor. Next time.

During the worst economic crisis in the modern era of man, local government laid off hundreds of people with some terminations announced on radio. Yeah. Some people were driving to their jobs when the local radio stations repeated the terminations. As in, last night, in a public meeting, the Hall County Board of Commissioners voted to fire 25 people immediately to save a few thousand dollars.

Have to explain that better.

The Commission decided to fire the people on a Thursday night rather than a Friday morning to save money.

Yeah. Desperate times. Desperate measures.

So we saved a little money at the price of basic human dignity and happily used the money to dig the hole to fill with gold.

So in the second decade of the Glades, we have a $15,000,000 hole. A scheme to spend unlimited money, whatever it takes, to recover the losses made by political bosses.

Time to fire some County Commissioners or give them shovels.

Governor Nathan Deal forces prayer on private citizens

I should have more courage. Maybe I have too much common sense.

Why in Hell's finest tradition are Georgia government organizations forcing me to pray?

No one has a right to tell me, "You will pray. You will pray now. You will pray in this manner."

No one has that power. Well, except for Nathan Deal's government in the form of schools, football games, public meetings, and courthouses.

Let's blame it on the Pilgrims or at least the little band later named the Pilgrims. Of 109 passengers on the Mayflower, only 50 could be called religious. Four were children more or less kidnapped from their parents as punishment for adultery. How loving a church to take in illegitimate children, hide them from their natural parents, transport them 5,000 across an ocean, and force the children to pray. To a specific pastor. To a specific dogma.

When I see a version of the 10 Commandments on public land, that is Nathan Deal telling me, "Read these religious laws and Obey."

When I'm at a Hall County Board of Commissioners' Meeting and it is announced that someone will lead us in prayer, it means you will pray in the name of Nathan Deal's government. Now. In this manner. In front of the cameras.

The next time Nathan Deal says, You will pray, I'll think of four children stolen from their natural parents and forced into religious dogma in a strange new world.

That is, until I have enough courage to refuse Nathan Deal.

Racism in Georgia Politics

I let myself respond to a long Facebook post about Obama which slid into racism with the first post.

Shortly after, this cartoon was posted.

Is that racist?

Yes. And, it doesn't matter who posted it, their gender, or their race.

The poster thinks black males have been enslaved by Democrats.

How could it be 'not' racist?

If the 'slaves' were women, Latino, Muslim, handicapped, disabled war Veterans, transgendered, Gay, Lesbian .... the list is long.

Republicans do not want certain people to have basic human rights.

Are you one of those certain people?

Felon shoots family. Had a right to a gun. Are gun rights more important than voting rights in Georgia?. Two similar issues. One as deadly as the other.

Link

The link to the real story comes first in this story. Too complicated for me to explain or spin.

Convicted felon on charges unrelated to having killed his son in a hunting accident years ago, shoots and kills his daughter and her six kids.

Sheriff Schultz identified the victims as Sarah Lorraine Spirit, 28; Kaleb Kuhlmann, 11; Kylie Kuhlmann, 9; Johnathon Kuhlmann, 8; Destiny Stewart, 5; Brandon Stewart, 4; and Alanna Stewart, who was born in June.

Under Florida law, this convicted felon still had a right to a gun. Same as in Georgia.

Yes, convicted felons have a right to own a gun or guns. Just sign some paperwork. Get your gun. Even if you have killed in the past.

Story on gun rights in Georgia which clarify my assertion.

The State Board of Pardons and Paroles restored firearms rights for more than 1,400 felons between 2008 and 2013, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Sunday.

The board restored gun rights for 666 people last year, which is 10 times the number of pardons that restored firearms rights six years ago.

The overall number includes 358 felons who were convicted of violent crimes, 166 who were convicted of drug crimes and 32 who killed another person.

Georgia does spend millions trying to stop voter fraud. So does Georgia restore voting rights to felons? They can. Someone needs to see how many times killers get to vote.

Story from Bloomberg on the huge investigation into voting fraud
allegations.

Here's the lead paragraph:

Georgia’s top elections official gave a nonprofit group that has registered more than 85,000 minority voters until tomorrow to produce every record it has, in what critics say is an effort to suppress minority voting in November’s tight race for the U.S. Senate.

Present details on the fraud allegations,"Investigators [said] they can confirm 25 applications[are under investigation of fraud out] of more than 85,000 submitted to the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.

Story in the AJC.

That's 25 allegations of fraud in 13 counties and 85,000 forms. Horrible. Must be stopped.

Governor's man says, "@LoriGearyWSB uncovers massive voter fraud by Democrats. We now know how Carter [Democratic candidate for Governor] plans to get to those 200,000 new voters he says he needs."

From the Republican candidate for Congress, "The fact that an organization led by a well-known Nunn supporter would attempt to illegally register voters is unacceptable."

Lee Harvey Oswald gets Georgia Gun Permit and Pardon

The Georgia Pardons and Parole Board oversees a nasty bunch of people. Rapists. Murderers. Child Molesters. Board members make some serious and life changing decisions including granting felons a right to carry a concealed weapon.

That must be a rarity for a board considered a 'national model for stable and professional leadership' which is 'attuned to long-term as well as short-term public-safety solutions.'

Oddly enough for a Bible Belt State, the Board granted 666 gun packing pardons last year. Wow! Exactly the Number of the Beast.

The Board in its unique wisdom found mercy for 358 felons who were convicted of violent crimes, 166 who were convicted of drug crimes and 32 who killed another person.

But, I guess even killers deserve a second chance and at least one former board member agrees with that.

I'd call and ask the current Board about their gun waving pardons if they would take any phone calls on the subject.

Board members declined the newspaper's requests for interviews. The longest-serving member took office in January of 2009. Board spokesman, Steve Hayes, said the board's turnover rate could explain an overall increase in gun pardons. In 2012 the number of violent felons who had their gun rights reinstated was 71. The number increased to 208 in 2013.

In one year, new board members gave felons gun at a rate 300% higher than older board members? Should we believe this load of shit from Steve Hayes? No. New board members can't over ride decisions by the general Board.

Or can they, with one wave, give a murderer the right to pack heat? If they can, we need to ask Nathan Deal what kind of nuts did he just appoint to the Board.

The letter from Rick Frommer

In a recent letter to the editor, the writer alleges a 1960's conspiracy to stop profitable recycling of nuclear waste. According to the authror, the massive conspiracy stopped civil rights legislation, defeated General Westmoreland in an election, and preserved corruption in the Democratic Party.

I remember the Sixties. So do many other people. It would do well to remember the facts in that decade.

Young President John F. Kennedy proposed civil rights legislation in 1963. The 1964 Civil Rights Act came to a Congressional vote and was signed by President Lyndon Johnson on July 2, 1964, just months after Kennedy's assassination in Dallas, Texas. Among the nay votes were Democrats and Republicans with every Southern Republican voting against the new law. Southern Republican refers to the Congressman from the 11 states which constituted the Confederate slave states a hundred years earlier. In the Senate, 69% of Democrats voted for the bill.

Johnson would sign the 1968 Civil Right Act before leaving the White House. Hardly a Democratic conspiracy to stop civil rights legislation.

General Westmoreland didn't retire from the military until 1972. His military service and career were stained by US involvement in Vietnam and his several decisions to suppress military reports. Suppressing information hit a low point in 1968 when the Calley massacre cover-up lasted 13 months. Westmoreland left Vietnam after the horrific losses of the 1968 Tet Offensive. His unsuccessful political campaign was in 1974 not in the Sixties.

No President has been as corrupt as Republican President Richard Nixon who was elected in 1968. Nixon used what is know as the Southern strategy in national politics. The strategy was to appeal to the white Southern racist called "Negrophobe whites" by Nixon's people.

As to profitable recycling of radioactive waste in the 1960's? Not possible. Not possible today. Although Governor Deal and others like the Heritage Foundation have made false reports of successful efforts in the UK and France. The UK and France are actively seeking underground disposal options and not any mythical recycling program.

The UK offers 'bribes' to communities to consider storage of its 260,000 cubic meters of radioactive waste.

France had 1.32 million cubic meters of nuclear waste in 2010, a 13% increase over 2009.

People have been trying to explain how the world works since we first walked upright. Lying about the past isn't new. Lying about nuclear waste is just tool of Republicans.

Who can you blame?

I heard this Republican joke today.

If Obama ate puppies on live TV, the mainstream media would report, "Obama makes cats safer!"

Right ....

If the entire congregation of Free Chapel saw Governor Nathan Deal screwing a male goat on top of the altar during Easter Sunday service, they would blame my goat.

And I don't have a goat.

Lynching at Ol' Miss

Like it or knot.

Racism rules in the South. Wave the Battle Flag and cry Havoc!

Students at Ol' Miss University performed a ritual lynching of James Meredith, the first black student to attend the school.

Police on Sunday found a noose tied around the neck of the statue, along with an old Georgia flag with a Confederate battle emblem in its design, which has since been updated to exclude the emblem.

And a Georgia Flag?

I'm 58 years old and I've seen the KKK standing on street corners in the South. But remember I've only lived here since 1986.

I didn't live here in 1962. I bet white sheets were the rage.

Maybe the tie dye rage was a small rebellion which didn't take.

"Voting rights act? We don't need no federal protection for our darkies. We know how to handle them."

If that's not the mantra of Georgia, Let the leadership speak out. Repudiate vocally or validate privately.

Well, I'm listening.

Infamous gun deaths and Georgia's hidden carry law

Cops shoot 17 year old kid who opened the front door.

Cops shoot grandmother who called 911.

Police shoot Pastor in drug sting. His three loves in life were "Jesus Christ, my wife Abby, and the Church."

Police shoot man with knife 16 times, claiming he had a gun. They wound 9 bystanders and claim he shot them.

Police shoot and kill robbery victim.

Unarmed man shot by cops.

Police shoot man armed with wallet 41 times.

Police shoot 83 year old grandmother 39 times wounding themselves 3 time. Then, plant drugs on her.

And Georgia wants civilians to be armed with hidden weapons in churches. If professional, trained police officers can't shoot straight, shoot each other, kill innocent people, and lie about it; don't you think the dude sitting behind you in church might shoot you and lie about it?

Georgia to give away carry on guns at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Despite a poll showing Georgia voters do not want more gun on airplanes, in bars, in confessionals, or libraries, the GOP is considering a carry on gun law. Also to be know as the Right to Carry On law, all rednecks who declare their Right to Carry to airlines when buying tickets will no longer be stopped by federal agents.

The federal agency tasked with carrying out providing effective and efficient security for passenger and freight transportation in the United States, TSA, has denied Georgia gun owners the right to pass through security with a gun since it was formed in 2001.

Through a spokesmodel, the TSA said, "We ain't lettin' no redneck pack more than a suitcase through our checkpoints. We had have our first death in the line of duty in the shooting spree in LA. One dead agent is enough."

An unofficial spokesmodel to the Goobernator was glad to give a statement on a subject other than ethics.

"The sovereign State of Georgia has the Constitutional Rights given by the Founders to grant a Get Out of Jail Free card to anyone caught with a gun in Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. It's clearly stated in the Bill of Rights that the federal government shall not infringe on the right to bear arms. That includes on airplanes and crowded public places."

Rumors abound on street corners that the new law is in retaliation for the partial guilty verdict in Florida in the so called Gangster Music shooting.

The north Florida jury has convicted a man of three counts of attempted murder for opening fire on a car of black teenagers during an argument over loud music. One teenager was killed in the shooting but the jury ignored the death in its verdict. Apparently, killing someone while attempting to kill them isn't murder anymore.

Only Georgia's street corner wisdom could twist that into a carry on gun law. Must have something to do with that phrase in the Constitution, 'Activist judges shall not abridge a white mans right to kill black teenagers.'

Georgia giving tax cuts to high school football teams

Our beloved Georgia started giving 40% tax credits to Hollywood companies a few years ago. The tax credits are salable.

Let's say a Hollywood company makes a film in Georgia and they spend $1,000,000. They could get a tax credit of $400,000. Since the production costs are paid during filming and profits counted much later, the Hollywood company can sell the $400,000 to an existing Georgia company.

So at the worst, Company A has made no money and has no Georgia tax liability but has a Georgia tax credit of $400,000. They sell the credit for $360,000 paying a 10% fee to a broker. They still have no Georgia tax liability. A Georgia political insider just made $40,000. Let's say Delta bought the credit. Reducing their taxes.

Now, the positive argument goes, Georgia comes out ahead with increased jobs.

So, will Company A create enough jobs to pay back the $400,000? The GOP says Yes!

As a matter of fact, the GOP likes giving salable tax credits to attract entertainment.

The Georgia House of Give-away-slaters are applying the principle to high school football. If a Hollywood or Texas hight school football team will pay in Georgia, the coach will get two footballs signed by the Goobernator, 3 jock straps worn by interior lineman in a professional game, and $400,000 in salable tax credits.

Why?

There's study by the Hermitage Foundation on high school football. The sport adds a cool billion dollars to the national economy. The study included only money spent on transportation, tickets, and tailgating. Head injuries, legal sales of burgers, and EMTs were excluded in the figures.

So Georgia wants to be the destination of every high school football team in American. And, they're willing to pay in salabe tax credits.

Commissioner Craig Lutz accepts responsibility for canceled air travel in USA

A record number of domestic air flights have been cancelled since December 1st. Over 14,000 flights were canceled last week.

Today, in a press conference, Hall County Commissioner Craig Lutz accepted full responsibility for the cancellations.

"As you know, we have been confronted with an unexpected storm that has hit America," Commissioner Lutz did not say.

"'Some in the public, social media or decision-making positions have been ‘blameing’ the meteorologists. I began to hear things like ‘this was not expected in America’ or ‘they said this was going to all be South of America’ or there were no Watches or Warnings until snow started falling or ‘weather is just unpredictable.’"

Invoking President Kennedy and the Bay of Pigs, "Kennedy in the aftermath of the failed Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba, sought to spread the blame to the U.S. news media, particularly the New York Times. On separate occasions in 1961 and 1962, Kennedy told the Times‘ publisher and its managing editor that had the newspaper printed all it knew about the pending invasion, the country and his administration would have been spared a major foreign policy embarrassment. That is, the pre-invasion publicity would have made an assault untenable."

Lutz, had he been present for a news conference would have said, "I am not Kennedy. I am not Goobernator Deal. I'm not even Kasim Reed.

"The greatest difference between me and these failed leaders, I'm more responsible!

"This is true in my personal life where I took responsibility for $90,000 in credit card debt through the opportunity of bankruptcy.

"Now it is time for me to take responsibility for the massive number of flight cancellations in American history.

"It was my responsibility."

Snowden

Seems the governor of South Carolina was trying to reach our Goobernator by phone.

The call was routed through a help center located in New Delhi.

"Hello, this is the help desk, Steve Austin speaking. What's your emergency?"

I'm trying to reach an expert on snow.

"Let me speak to my supervisor. --- I'm very sorry. Mr. Snowden is not available at this time."

Snowed In? Hell, yes I'm snowed in.

"Please lower your voice. The NSA can hear you without yelling."

NSA? What's that got to do with snowed in? "

It's a non-profit, non-governmental, post freezing organization listening to the Weather Channel. It stands for Not Snowden A-hole!"

Okay, look. I just wanna talk to the Goobernator of Georgia. He's got experience.

"Again, I am truly sorry. Mr. Snowden is NSA at the moment and can't be reached."

Look! Half the state is snowed in and I need help. What can you do for me?

"After years of research and extensive experience, I will put your call on hold until Spring Time. Then, you can accept personal responsibility. But, if you can excuse me, I'm NSA. Thank you for calling. Your call is very important to us. It will be answered when the proper season arrives."

Deal called to lie in suit

Goobernator Mark A. Deal has been commanded to lie in a suit and tie.

Since 1993 and a half, the Goobernator has lied in buildings, hallways, and bus stops. The call has gone out, in writing, for Deal to appear in a suit.

The command appears to be formal but tux and tails are not available at this time.

New Chicken statue in Gainesville

Gainesville is the chicken capital of the United States. Just look at who runs for office there.

PETA wants to mark a spot on Highway 129 in memory of the chickens who never made it into local public office. These chickens lost their lives along Highway 129 on their way to slaughter at the polls.

The ambitious idea dwarfs the downtown statue and may eclipse the Big Chicken in Marietta.

Various non-comments were never heard today.

Commissioner Craig Lutz, "We will not raise taxes to remember losers."

Commissioner Gibbs, "We have no reason to remember our mistakes, especially those made behind closed doors when first elected."

Ex-Commissioner Ashley Bell, "I look past this time of grief knowing I can find a compromise to make me look good to true conservative donors."

Goobernator Make A. Deal, "I'm appointing a blue ribbon commission to review our response to poorly worded and ill timed reports of dead chickens blocking school buses."

Senator Miller, "Whatever the Goobernator said is alright with me if the Tea Party lets me say so. If the Tea Party honors me by sending me to the next Constitutional Convention, I'll act in the best interests of my betters."

You got that right!

Corruption in Georgia Government

A few years ago, I accused our 2nd Lt. Governor Cagle of misleading investors in Southern Heritage Bank by telling them and the SEC that he was a business consultant. He and his agent invented a fake business consulting company. It never had a phone number, phone listing. The Sec. of State deleted the corporation listing when no activity occurred other than the initial filing. I've confirmed details through the FED and the prospectus for Southern Heritage Bank. Since most of the investors were from Hall County and most likely had a personal relationship with then Senator Cagle, they knew his 'business' was a bridal shop.

That is a public record as I filed the complaint with our No Ethics in Government Commission. My complaint was immediately dismissed. A Cagle spokesmodel said something about it involving an old company owned by Cagle.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. An old company that issued a million shares of stock but never existed.

Now that the former Virginia Governor is under investigation, stories are coming out about corruption in all states.

Of all 50 states, Georgia ranks 50th for integrity or whatever name is used for Good Ethics Enforcement.

For the state by state study, visit State Integrity Org at http://www.stateintegrity.org

The report on Georgia will be real short. Just like Nathan Deal.

I hate to do it but Fox News has some interesting reading on the topic. Only it's in the business section instead of a section on Republican Corruption.

Negative ads now running

Fox News asks, Where is the good news in the mainstream media?

Here it is! AccessNGA

Just to ad something fun to the mix, it won't be just negative ads targeting white males. A Spanish-language version will run in Colorado and Virginia, where a Korean version will also run. A Vietnamese version will run in Louisiana.

Sounds dumb to me but I guess there are a lot of Korean Democrats in Colorado who lean to the right. Same for the Spanish ads in Virginia.

However, there's a rumor on the streets that Governor Nathan Deal has a cousin producing the English Second Language ads. There's no conflict of interest unless Nathan gets more than a 50% cut and gives it to his daughter by another mother.

Can I ever be serious? That would be good news.

Braves leaving Atlanta UPDATE!

The story on the former Atlanta Braves continue today.

As most of the world knows, Mortgomery has lured the Braves organization to Alabama. Atlanta Mayor Hussain Reedy has kissed them good bye and wished them the best of luck.

The Jawhjaw Goobernator, Don E. Deals, expressed his opinion that Mortgomery is just an extension of Atlanta. I couldn’t follow his logic. But, it seems we build and finance all the double wides in Alabama. As if that isn’t enough, we get half of our tax dollars through toll roads crossing the border. The other half comes from Uncle Sam.

But the breaking news isn’t from soon to be indicted Goobers. It’s those Tea Party Goobers.

They have a three part plan to stop the move.

1. Complain about it on all the talk radio stations.

2. Promise that un-Constitutional taxes will rise. Some where.

3. Nullification.

Self appointed Tea Party President, Doona Dana Dooly, gave a hand written statement to the media. It was written in cursive. Stating that the devil was in the details, she said, “They are going to raise property taxes.”

Or at least that’s what the handwriting experts think she wrote. It could have said, “Curds and Whey always raise bubble asses.”

For other rambling details see the story at Access North Jawhjah.
