Casey Cagle lied, more than once, to the Security and Exchange Commission, SEC

Ask Mr. Lt. Gov., Lowell Stacy Cagle, about his qualifications for leading the development of Southern Heritage Bank and he'll say,

"I ran a prom dress and tuxedo rental company."

That's what he must say to be truthful and in compliance with his signed campaign disclosures.

But, he didn't say that.

He proudly said, 'I'm a business consultant for a corporation with a million shares of stock which was founded pretty much yesterday and won't exist for more than ninety days when I will abandon it."

Works for me. Worked for him. Fooled the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance. Fooled all the people investing in the bank. Well, it didn't fool those investors who knew Cagle never provided consulting services for a fee in his entire life. There's a list of those people. Most of them became members of the first Board of Directors, Southern Heritage Bank, Oakwood, Georgia.

You can read about that online with a little research through the SEC and federal government websites.

You can't get any information from Banking and Finance in Georgia. I know. I've asked.

You might ask why the under capitalized bank was allowed to open when other under capitalized banks were not.

Oh, that's right. Cagle had some sort of family connection between the bank and the state.

Just good old fashioned Southern corruption. Not a crime.

Casey Cagle changed his name

Lowell

His mother named him Lowell Stacy Cagle.

He became known as Casey because he couldn't pronounce Stacy, his girlish middle name.

He didn't want to be called Lowell, a great name with no meaning. Maybe he couldn't say Lowell either.

So Stacy became Casey who became wealthy, only after getting elected to the Georgia Senate.

I'll write some more about Mr. Cagle as his doomed run for Governor staggers us.

But, why did Hall County's favorite son open his greatest political campaign in Gwinnett County?

Infamous gun deaths and Georgia's hidden carry law

Cops shoot 17 year old kid who opened the front door.

Cops shoot grandmother who called 911.

Police shoot Pastor in drug sting. His three loves in life were "Jesus Christ, my wife Abby, and the Church."

Police shoot man with knife 16 times, claiming he had a gun. They wound 9 bystanders and claim he shot them.

Police shoot and kill robbery victim.

Unarmed man shot by cops.

Police shoot man armed with wallet 41 times.

Police shoot 83 year old grandmother 39 times wounding themselves 3 time. Then, plant drugs on her.

And Georgia wants civilians to be armed with hidden weapons in churches. If professional, trained police officers can't shoot straight, shoot each other, kill innocent people, and lie about it; don't you think the dude sitting behind you in church might shoot you and lie about it?

Ethics Staff dying

I hate using this source but it's one of the better articles on ethics and staffing in Georgia.

Yes, our Ethics Commission has never been equal to the task of suppressing or punishing politicians who have an "I'm above the law" ego.

I filed a complaint there. It was dismissed. The rejection happened so quickly, I doubt the contents were read.

Here's on good quote:

“This is an agency in crisis,” Perry said. “This agency continues to be a huge problem and it doesn’t seem to be getting better. That’s why we have been calling for independent appointments and funding for years. The sad thing is that we might finally get what we want because the agency is in complete turmoil, which is something we wanted to avoid all along.”

Corruption in Georgia Government

A few years ago, I accused our 2nd Lt. Governor Cagle of misleading investors in Southern Heritage Bank by telling them and the SEC that he was a business consultant. He and his agent invented a fake business consulting company. It never had a phone number, phone listing. The Sec. of State deleted the corporation listing when no activity occurred other than the initial filing. I've confirmed details through the FED and the prospectus for Southern Heritage Bank. Since most of the investors were from Hall County and most likely had a personal relationship with then Senator Cagle, they knew his 'business' was a bridal shop.

That is a public record as I filed the complaint with our No Ethics in Government Commission. My complaint was immediately dismissed. A Cagle spokesmodel said something about it involving an old company owned by Cagle.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. An old company that issued a million shares of stock but never existed.

Now that the former Virginia Governor is under investigation, stories are coming out about corruption in all states.

Of all 50 states, Georgia ranks 50th for integrity or whatever name is used for Good Ethics Enforcement.

For the state by state study, visit State Integrity Org at http://www.stateintegrity.org

The report on Georgia will be real short. Just like Nathan Deal.

I hate to do it but Fox News has some interesting reading on the topic. Only it's in the business section instead of a section on Republican Corruption.

Teflon Deal, Gubinator of Jawhjah

Some where, there is evidence in a brief case or cardboard box which will send Deal to that great retirement home for crooked politicians. Maybe you know it as federal prison. See some details here at the Raw Deal/Story.

As his string of recent crimes are investigated, maybe we should think about Lt. Governor Casey Cagle.

Well, Casey isn't his real name. Stacy. That's it. Stacy.

I filed an ethics complaint against Lt. Governor Stacy Cagle in 2009? I alleged the man committed several state ethic violations by never disclosing all his employment positions. With the help of Donald Bloom, Stacy created a corporation called Strateia Group Atlanta, Inc. Stacy was CEO. Mr. Bloom was Secretary and CFO.

Under Georgia Law, Stacy position as CEO and his ownership position should have been disclosed to voters.

Well, I guess not since he's never done that. Never told people he ran a business consulting firm in Atlanta. Never bought a phone listing. I bet he never printed a business card.

I'm sure Mr. Donald Bloom would correct me if I'm wrong.

But, Stacy did list his position as CEO with the SEC and other regulatory agencies. When he formed a bank in Oakwood, Southern Heritage Bank.

I'm still waiting for Mr. Lt. Governor Lowell Stacy Cagle to respond to me.

Did you issue 1 million shares of stock in that corporation?

Did you file any tax returns?

Did you tell the other organizers of the bank you were a business consultant?

Or, did you tell them, "I operate a bridal shop and tux rental store?"

So while Teflon Deal continues to flirt with retirement, let's look at the possible replacement.
